East Renfrewshire Cricket Club is delighted to announce that our application to ‘East Renfrewshire Renewable Energy Fund’ has been successful.

The funding will allow us to construct an outdoor cricket net training area which in tun will massively boost club’s facility and will be enjoyed by our juniors, members, local schools and community groups. It will also help shape the landscape at Woodfarm Playing Fields a previously disused area of land.

The new training facility will ensure that many generations will enjoy playing cricket.

Further investment on the grounds is also taking place in the shape of new 8 wicket grass square adding to the new outfield drainage that was installed last summer.

Our members are very excited about the developments and this stage of our growth compliments the 200 + hours of cricket that is delivered in the local schools year on year.
